By using PassportTrail you agree to these terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

PassportTrail is operated by Haq Digital LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the State of Wyoming, United States (Filing No. 2026-002000098). Our registered address is 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. For legal notices, contact us at support@passporttrail.com.

PassportTrail provides travel history tracking, visa compliance calculations, passport and visa expiry monitoring, and PDF export of official travel history reports. It is an informational tool only and does not provide legal advice.

CRITICAL: PassportTrail is an informational tool and does NOT provide legal advice. Visa compliance calculations are estimates based on user-provided data. They may be inaccurate. Immigration rules change without notice.

Always verify your visa status with the official immigration authority of the relevant country before travelling. PassportTrail accepts no responsibility for denied entry, deportation, fines, or any other immigration consequences. Consult a qualified immigration lawyer for legal advice.

  • You must be 16 or older to create an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You must not share your account credentials
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms
  • Minor dependants (sons, daughters, stepsons, stepdaughters, or wards) may be added as family member profiles by a parent or guardian account holder. The account holder is responsible for all data entered on behalf of minor dependants and consents to its processing.

  • You own your travel history data
  • You grant us a licence to process your data to provide the service
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter
  • You must not enter data belonging to other people without their consent

You must not:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the service
  • Share your account with others
  • Use the service to store false or misleading travel records
  • Attempt to manipulate compliance calculations
  • Use family member slots on behalf of unrelated third parties or for commercial purposes

30-Day Trial Eligibility

Every new PassportTrail account is automatically granted a 30-Day Premium Trial providing unrestricted access to all Pro-tier tracking utilities from the moment of registration. No payment credentials are required to activate the trial.

  • The 30-Day Trial is available once per unique identity — defined as one trial per verified email address. Creating additional accounts to circumvent this limit is a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent account suspension.
  • Trial access is automatically revoked at the end of the 30-day period unless a paid plan is activated before expiry.
  • Compiling and downloading formatted PDF files (travel history reports and embassy cover pages) requires an active paid plan, even during the trial period.
  • Trial accounts are subject to all Terms of Service applicable to standard accounts, including the Acceptable Use and Data Ownership provisions.
  • PassportTrail reserves the right to terminate or shorten a trial at its sole discretion if abuse is detected.

90-Day Frozen Vault Period & Server Archiving

When a paid plan expires or is cancelled without renewal — including at the conclusion of a 30-Day Trial where no plan is activated — the account automatically enters a 90-Day Frozen Vault state. The following rules govern this period:

  • All historical travel records remain securely stored and fully visible in read-only mode throughout the 90-day window.
  • All write operations are suspended during the Frozen Vault period: adding new trips, editing existing records, running the compliance simulator, and downloading PDF documents are locked until a paid plan is reactivated.
  • The Frozen Vault state is a protective archival mechanism — it is not a data deletion event.
  • If a paid plan is reactivated before the 90-day window expires, full read-write access is restored immediately and no data is lost.

After the 90-Day Frozen Vault period elapses without reactivation, the account transitions to a server archival state. PassportTrail recognises the long-term regulatory compliance value of travel history data and does not trigger automatic permanent database deletion as a passive lifecycle rule. Archived records remain restorable upon plan reactivation.

  • The only event that causes permanent, irreversible removal of account data is an explicit Account Erasure Request submitted by the account holder through Account Settings, exercising their GDPR Right to Erasure.
  • Upon a verified erasure request, all personal data is permanently deleted immediately, with the exception of financial and legal records which are retained for 7 years as required by applicable law.

7.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed by LemonSqueezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), our authorised payment processor and merchant of record. When you make a purchase you will see “LEMON SQUEEZY” or “LS*PASSPORTTRAIL” on your statement. By purchasing you agree to LemonSqueezy's Terms of Service at lemonsqueezy.com/terms.

7.2 Plans and Pricing

  • Free — $0 forever, 1 traveller (you only), Last 12 months of trips, Schengen 90/180 compliance tracking included, no PDF export, no family members. UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Home Ties compliance tracking require a Pro or Lifetime plan.
  • Pro Monthly — $5/mo, 5 travellers total (primary traveller plus up to 4 family members), all features
  • Pro Yearly — $45/yr, 5 travellers total (primary traveller plus up to 4 family members), all features
  • Pro Lifetime — $199 one-time founding member price, permanent access, no renewals ever, 10 travellers total (primary traveller plus up to 9 family members), all features forever

7.3 Subscription Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance monthly or annually
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at end of each period
  • Annual subscribers receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal
  • By subscribing you authorise PassportTrail and LemonSqueezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel

7.4 No Refund Policy

ALL PAYMENTS MADE TO PASSPORTTRAIL ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. This includes:

  • Monthly subscription fees — no refund for current billing period upon cancellation
  • Annual subscription fees — no refund after purchase regardless of usage
  • Lifetime plan payments — no refund under any circumstances whatsoever
  • Founding Member pricing — non-refundable

Cancellation stops future billing only. You retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds or credits are issued for unused time. Refunds are only issued where PassportTrail is legally compelled to do so by a court or regulatory authority.

7.5 EU and UK Consumers — Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may ordinarily have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital purchases. However by completing your purchase and requesting immediate access to PassportTrail you acknowledge that:

  • You request that we begin providing the service immediately upon purchase
  • You understand that by requesting immediate performance you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has begun
  • You expressly waive your 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015

You will be asked to confirm this waiver by ticking a checkbox at the point of purchase.

7.6 Australian and New Zealand Consumers

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act that cannot be excluded by agreement. A change of mind is not a valid reason for a refund under Australian or New Zealand law.

7.7 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Account Settings. Upon cancellation:

  • Access to paid features continues until end of billing period
  • No refund is issued for the remaining period
  • Family member profiles enter a 3-month cool-off period
  • Your data is never deleted due to cancellation or non-renewal. If you do not renew, your account converts to the Free plan and all your data remains intact indefinitely. Data is only deleted when you explicitly request account deletion.

Inactivity policy: Free plan accounts with no login activity for 3 consecutive years will receive a warning email at 33 months, a final warning at 36 months, and will be permanently deleted 7 days after the final warning. Lifetime plan accounts are retained for 10 years of inactivity before the same warning and deletion process applies. Active Pro subscribers are never deleted due to inactivity — your subscription keeps your account active regardless of login frequency.

7.8 Family Workspace

  • Family workspace is included in all Pro and Lifetime plans at no additional charge
  • Seat limits are fixed by plan tier: Pro includes up to 4 family members (5 travellers total); Lifetime includes up to 9 family members (10 travellers total)
  • No per-member fees apply — family members cannot be purchased separately
  • A removed family member enters a 3-month cool-off period and may be reactivated at no charge within that window

7.9 Lifetime Plans

  • Pro Lifetime grants access to all PassportTrail features as they exist now and in the future
  • All future features and updates are included — no exceptions
  • Lifetime plans are non-transferable and tied to one account only
  • No refund is available on Lifetime plans under any circumstances

7.10 Founding Member and Early Adopter Badges

  • Founding Member badge is awarded to Pro Lifetime purchasers during the launch period only. Once awarded it is permanent and tied to the account for life. It has no monetary value and is non-transferable.
  • Early Adopter badge is awarded to Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly subscribers who join during the launch period. This badge remains active as long as the account maintains a paid Pro plan. It is permanently lost if the account is downgraded to Free or deleted. It does not transfer or restore upon re-subscription. It has no monetary value and is non-transferable.

7.11 Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time
  • We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price change takes effect
  • The new price applies at your next renewal after the notice period
  • If you do not agree you may cancel before renewal
  • Lifetime plan holders are not subject to price increases on their existing plan

7.12 Failed Payments

  • If a payment fails we will attempt to retry within a reasonable period
  • You will be notified by email of any failed payment
  • If payment continues to fail your account may be downgraded to the Free plan
  • You can reactivate at any time by updating your payment method

7.13 Disputes and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge was made in error please Contact Us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider.

Initiating a fraudulent or unjustified chargeback may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of your account
  • Permanent termination if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent
  • Deletion of all account data 30 days after permanent termination

LemonSqueezy as merchant of record maintains comprehensive transaction records including IP addresses, device information, timestamps, and usage logs. These records are used to contest fraudulent chargebacks. By purchasing you acknowledge that this evidence may be submitted to your card issuer in any chargeback dispute.

7.14 Taxes

All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. LemonSqueezy as merchant of record is responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, and other consumption taxes based on your location.

  • Family members are available on Pro and Lifetime plans only
  • Pro plans: 5 travellers total (primary traveller plus up to 4 family members)
  • Lifetime plans: 10 travellers total (primary traveller plus up to 9 family members)
  • Removing a family member does not affect your subscription — no refund is issued for the current period
  • A removed family member enters a 3-month cool-off period. Data is preserved and the family member can be reactivated within 3 months. After 3 months data is permanently deleted.
  • Family member full name, date of birth, and relationship type are subject to strict edit limits to prevent abuse
  • PassportTrail is for personal and family use only. Using family member slots for commercial purposes or on behalf of unrelated third parties is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination without refund.

The PassportTrail name, favicon, and software are our intellectual property. Your travel data is your intellectual property.

PassportTrail shall not be liable for:

  • Immigration consequences arising from use of our service
  • Loss of data due to technical failures
  • Inaccurate compliance calculations
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Maximum liability is limited to fees paid by you in the last 12 months.

You agree to indemnify PassportTrail against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use family member slots for commercial purposes. You may cancel your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon account deletion your personal data is permanently deleted immediately. Cancellation of a paid plan does not delete your data — your account converts to Free and data is retained indefinitely until you choose to delete your account. Lifetime members who violate these terms are not entitled to a refund upon termination.

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation between the parties. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognised arbitration rules.

Material changes notified by email with 30 days notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
